The Ferrari 296 GTS features a rear-mid-engined, Rear Wheel Drive plug-in hybrid architecture. Its powertrain integrates a new 2.9-liter, 120° twin-turbo V6 Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) with an electric motor, delivering a total combined output of 830 HP and a maximum torque of 740 Nm. The engine’s unique architecture places the turbos within the ‘vee’ for compactness and a lower center of gravity. Power is managed by an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission. The car features a retractable hard top (RHT) and advanced aerodynamic solutions, including an active rear spoiler that increases downforce for enhanced high-performance handling. The chassis has been optimized for the GTS to improve torsional rigidity.
